A high-level academic delegates from Germany visited Rubber Park on Thursday, 29th May 2025, as part of an international workshop organized by Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam.
The delegation included the following distinguished members:
1. Prof. Dr. Michael Herzog – Technical University of Applied Sciences, Wildau
2. Prof. Dr. Christian Dreyer – Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Polymer Research (IAP)
3. Dr. Kiril Dimitrov – Technical University of Applied Sciences, Wildau
They were accompanied by prominent academicians including:
· Dr. Sreekala M S from MG University, Kottayam
· Dr. Prashanth Raghavan from Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT)
· Dr. M N Aji, Senior Manager, H F Mixing Group, Germany
The Managing Director of Rubber Park formally welcomed the distinguished guests and highlighted the Park’s commitment to promoting innovation, sustainability, and global partnerships in the rubber sector.
During their visit, the delegates explored the infrastructure facilities at Rubber Park including our JJ Murphy Research Centre and interacted with few of the stakeholders from the rubber industry. The primary focus of the visit was to understand the innovation ecosystem, examine opportunities for international industry-academia collaboration, ongoing research, testing and support facilities and to discuss avenues for joint research and technology exchange in the rubber sector.
Rubber Park was privileged to host the esteemed professors and welcomed the opportunity to showcase its capabilities and explore potential collaborations that could pave way to global partnerships and advancements in rubber technology.
